The Business, Entrepreneurship and Management Society (BEaMS) is a student run club at Jacobs University Bremen whose broader aims are to provide a platform for students interested in entrepreneurship, business and management to meet and discuss their ideas. The club’s experience to organize business competitions is mainly described by the“startSomething! 2009” business plan competition aimed at developing new student-run businesses at Jacobs University and the “BeaMS Challenge 2010” business case competition aimed at solving real-life problems of the organization “Das Viertel”.
